How Can I Insert Products and Services on My Proposals?

Proposeful lets you add products and services to your proposal and allow your client to select the ones they wish to purchase, as well as the quantity for each item.


Inserting Products and Services

To insert a new product, go to the pricing table in the editor and use the button Add Item.


You’ll be prompted to choose between adding a product from the Product Gallery or creating a new Product.


Inserting From a Product Gallery

Product Templates saved in a Product Gallery can be easily selected to insert products in your proposal by clicking the Add From Product Gallery button.


A window will pop up displaying the saved Product Templates.


You can select one or several products you want to add to your proposal and search Products by using the Search field or changing the selected Product Gallery.

You can customize product prices before inserting them in proposals. To do so, click the view button next to the number of price options and change the price and discount fields values.

Creating Blank Products

You can create a blank product by selecting the New Product Option.


A new row will be added to the price table, which you can customize with the Name and Description of your new product. You can also select the Quantity and Price column headers for your product.


You can insert new price options in each item with the button Add Option.


Your client can only select one option from each item. This way, you can offer different products and services and offer different prices or models for each of them.


Optional Products

You can mark a item as optional or mandatory using the … button next to the name of the item.


If an item is set as not optional, the first price option will always be selected by default when your client opens the proposal. You client will not be able to remove the item but they will be able to pick another price option in the same item.


Quantities

You can use the quantity column to let your client pick the quantity they wish to purchase of an item.


You can also change the column name by clicking it and typing the new value. This is useful if you sell software per users, for example, or offer your services by the hour and want your client to select the number they wish to purchase.


You can use the … button next to the option name to control the minimum, maximum and default quantities for an item.


You can remove the quantity field by using the icon next to the quantity field and deleting the column name to remove the quantity field from an item.
